Job Description:

Join us for an engaging 14-week contract as a Labor & Delivery RN in Newark, Delaware, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role offers the chance to support high-acuity obstetric care in a facility with 21-30 beds, where you'll be managing complex deliveries, inductions, cesarean sections, and fetal monitoring. Expect to use Cerner and transition to Epic electronic health records, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3. The position emphasizes teamwork across antenatal, high-risk, OB triage, and postpartum areas, with the opportunity to float within these units as needed. The focus on safety during emergent events includes timely handoffs and active engagement with charge nurses. The contract provides a vibrant setting for experienced labor and delivery specialists eager to make a positive impact in a fast-paced environment.
