Job Description:

Join a busy emergency room team for a 13-week travel assignment in Merced, California, working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers the opportunity to handle a mix of routine ER cases, STEMIs, hemorrhagic strokes, and pediatric emergencies. You'll be responsible for thorough documentation, utilizing Cerner EMR (experience preferred), and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, ER techs, physicians, and midlevels. The hospital's ER has 33 beds, a dedicated triage area, and advanced monitoring equipment. Weekend and holiday work are required, with uniform standards that include navy scrubs and jackets. This assignment is perfect for experienced ER nurses seeking to expand their skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with up to 210 patient cases daily.
