Job Description:

This travel assignment places you within busy telemetry and med-surg units at St John's Regional Medical Center with the flexibility to float to nearby facilities. As a nurse on this 13-week contract, you will manage high-acuity patients including pneumonia, post-cath recovery, and respiratory distress, often working autonomously due to limited resources and float pool staffing. Your shift will be twelve hours overnight, requiring you to handle complex drips like amiodarone and heparin, and read cardiac strips confidently. The role offers a rich mix of primary care nursing and acute patient management, demanding experience, resilience, and a positive outlook. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of patient populations in a fast-paced environment where your skills truly make a difference.
