Job Description:

This 12-week travel contract calls for an experienced RN to support the PCU Float Pool at Inova Alexandria Hospital. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, floating between units such as PCU, telemetry, med-surg, and orthopedic, depending on staffing needs. The role offers a chance to hone your neuro assessment skills, interpret telemetry strips independently, and manage cardiac drips like Cardizem and amiodarone. Expect to adapt quickly to various inpatient units, providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment that keeps you on your toes. Ideal for nurses comfortable with diverse patient populations and clinical situations, including stroke evaluation, arrhythmias, CHF, and respiratory failure. The focus is on delivering safe, effective care while floating across different inpatient areas as needed.
