Job Description:

Join a specialized surgical unit as a highly skilled circulating nurse in Pearland, Texas, for a 13-week contract. This role involves supporting multiple ORs with a focus on orthopedic, general, colorectal, urological, and gynecological surgeries, many utilizing robotic and laparoscopic techniques. You'll be responsible for preparing surgical setups, assisting during procedures, and ensuring smooth workflow alongside a team of 5-6 nurses per shift. The workdays are structured as five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with potential for four 10-hour shifts depending on staffing. This assignment offers a chance to work with advanced equipment such as the daVinci Xi and Stryker laparoscopic towers, providing exposure to cutting-edge surgical technology. Your expertise in BLS and ACLS is essential, with preferred experience in Meditech and prior HCA familiarity. This role is suited for proactive team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy contributing to successful surgical outcomes.
