Your days will begin at 7:00 AM and conclude at 7:00 PM, with a 12-hour shift structure that allows for a balanced work schedule. The unit focuses on complex cardiac patients—including those with heart transplants and LVADs—and requires proficiency in interpreting telemetry and managing a variety of cardiac drips. Expect to work three shifts per week, covering 36 hours, with opportunities to float to similar units as needed. Your expertise in cardiac rhythms, procedures, and equipment will be essential in providing safe, efficient patient care in this high-stakes environment.
