Job Description:

This observation Med/Surg RN position at Deaconess Gateway offers a unique opportunity to work at a busy hospital with a close-knit team of LPNs and CNAs. You'll be responsible for managing a variety of patient cases, including chest pain, abdominal discomfort, and neurological concerns, while performing procedures like PIV insertions and IV drips. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, with responsibilities that include critical assessments, charting on EPIC, and adapting to a fast-paced, resilient environment. Expect to float within the same campus or nearby facilities with a short notice, making flexibility a key part of this assignment. This contract is designed for experienced med/surg nurses eager to elevate their skills amidst a supportive team, in a hospital that values independence and initiative.
