Job Description:

Join a fast-paced surgical pre-op unit in Wheeling, West Virginia, for a 13-week travel contract. This role involves scrubbing for a variety of procedures, including same-day surgeries and overnight stays, with a focus on surgical care, robotics, and IV skills. You will be working 12-hour night shifts, gaining hands-on experience in a specialized environment that operates with a mix of scheduled cases and emergency procedures. Your responsibilities will include assisting during surgeries, maintaining sterile conditions, and supporting the surgical team in a dynamic setting. The hospital uses EMR systems, currently Sunrise, with EPIC scheduled to go live soon. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to refine your surgical skills in a well-supported outpatient setting while working a flexible, rotating schedule that includes weekends and call coverage.
