Job Description:

This oncology nursing role places you on a 12-hour night shift at a facility specializing in cancer care, including hematology and radiation oncology. You'll be managing patients with lymphoma, leukemia, and other medical oncology cases, administering IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy with PPE precautions, and working alongside PCTs in a private 19-bed unit. The assignment offers a unique blend of hands-on chemotherapy administration and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, including RT staff for equipment troubleshooting. Expect to participate in 24/36 hours of unit orientation and to help maintain optimal patient experience in a fast-paced environment, all while working with the Epic Beacon EMR system. This contract supports flexible scheduling based on unit needs, including rotating weekends and holidays, with an emphasis on teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.
