Job Description:

Join the interventional radiology team at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for a 13-week contract as an Interventional Radiation Technologist. This role involves performing a variety of complex procedures including vascular, neuro, and interventional cases in a fast-paced IR unit. You will work alongside a team of one RN and two Rad Techs, handling an average of 4-6 procedures daily. The shift offers a flexible 8-hour schedule typically from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the opportunity to float to other locations within the central region if needed. The position requires at least 2 years of experience in interventional radiology and relevant certifications such as ARRT, BLS, and Wisconsin state licensure. The role also includes on-call responsibilities, with 1-2 weeknight calls and every 4th weekend or holiday coverage as assigned. Expect to be involved in a variety of high-quality imaging exams, including cone beam CT with 3D reconstruction, and participate in complex interventional procedures. This is a great chance to work in a dedicated IR setting with guaranteed hours and potential low census hours, plus the option for call back pay when called in.
