Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse role immerses you in the fast-paced world of cardiac intensive care, primarily working weekday shifts with some weekends and rotating holidays. You will be floating within units of similar or lower levels of acuity, managing a patient load that typically involves IV starts, telemetry, ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and PA lines. EPIC experience is essential, and previous travel experience is a plus. Expect approximately 36 hours per week on a rotating 12-hour night shift schedule, with up to six weekend shifts every four weeks. This assignment offers a chance to apply your specialized skills in a dynamic environment where patient acuity can vary, and adaptability is key. Your focus will be on providing top-tier care to cardiac patients, ensuring their stability and recovery while balancing the demands of a fast-moving ICU setting.
