Job Description:

Join our team as a Surgical Technologist specializing in Orthopedics, Neuro, and Spine cases at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. This 13-week travel contract offers a dynamic environment where you'll be a vital part of preparing operating rooms for a high volume of procedures, averaging 40 to 60 cases daily across 21 ORs. Your expertise will ensure all supplies and equipment are ready, assist in complex surgeries including spinal and neuro procedures, and support the overall efficiency of the surgical suite. The role demands flexibility, resilience, and a hands-on approach, with occasional float assignments to neighboring facilities. On-call responsibilities include weeknights and weekends, requiring swift response to emergency cases within 30 minutes. This position is perfect for experienced surgical technologists with a minimum of 4 years' OR experience, including trauma level II exposure, who are equipped to handle complex cases and guide new team members.
