Job Description:

Join a dedicated respiratory therapy team in Mount Vernon, Illinois, for a 13-week contract working overnight shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. You will primarily focus on adult acute care patients, managing ventilators such as Hamilton and Puritan Bennet 840, as well as providing care involving bubble CPAP and short-term mechanical ventilation in a Level II nursery setting. This role requires proficiency with EPIC charting and ICU experience, including ventilator management, to support the hospital’s high-quality respiratory services. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience, current BLS, NRP, RRT certifications, and a valid state license. This assignment offers an engaging work environment with no on-call duties, but it does include rotating weekends and holidays. Please note, this position is for non-local travelers within a 70-mile radius and requires prior RTO approval if needed. Your weekly commitment is approximately 36 hours, with a gross weekly pay of around $1,916.07.
