Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital in Springfield, Illinois, as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse specializing in Urology and Nephrology. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15, where you'll get hands-on experience managing a 25-bed unit with an average daily census of 23 patients. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, performing tasks such as telemetry monitoring, renal case management, IV therapy, and operating advanced equipment like chest tubes and CPAP/BiPAP devices. You'll float within the scope of Medical Surgical units to meet facility needs, providing versatile support in a magnet-recognized hospital. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, active Illinois RN license, and certifications like BLS are required. This assignment is ideal for experienced RNs eager to deepen their skills within a supportive and dynamic team.
