Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position offers a chance to work in a specialized maternity unit where you'll focus exclusively on obstetric patients, assisting with everything from sterile exams to managing high-risk deliveries. You'll rotate through day shifts, working 12-hour days, with the opportunity to experience both routine and complex cases. The role involves monitoring fetal well-being with external and internal fetal monitors, assisting during labor, and providing postpartum support. Attention to detail and clinical expertise are essential, especially when handling emergencies such as abnormal fetal heart patterns or postpartum hemorrhage. This assignment provides an engaging environment where your skills directly impact maternal and neonatal outcomes, all within a unit that combines labor, delivery, and postpartum care in a single setting.
