Job Description:

Join a supportive ICU setting in Bristol, CT, as a respiratory therapist for a 13-week assignment working 12-hour night shifts. You'll manage adult patients primarily in inpatient units such as ICU, ER, L&D, MedSurg, Psych, recovery, and sleep lab, with occasional offsite SNF coverage. Your responsibilities include drawing and reading ABGs, assisting with intubations (helping rather than leading), managing ventilators including Dräger and V60 models, and supporting sedation setups. This role offers a balanced caseload with 3-4 ventilator treatments weekly and opportunities to work closely with a hospitalist team and a dedicated resource manager. The environment encourages open communication and flexibility, making it an ideal placement for experienced RTs who thrive in varied, fast-paced settings.
