Job Description:

This travel nursing position involves providing specialized care on an inpatient acute floor, focusing on patients with diverse medical conditions such as respiratory issues, cardiac conditions, and neurological illnesses. The role requires managing complex procedures like chest tubes, trach care, and PICC lines, all while staying proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems like EPIC and medication dispensing tools like Pyxis. The assignment offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts with rotating days, weekends, and holidays—so you might just schedule your favorite daytime activities around work. Expect to float between units, including general medical floors and ICU settings, based on experience. You’ll be part of a private-room environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3-4:1, maintaining a steady rhythm in an energetic hospital setting. Orientation is brief but comprehensive, ensuring you're well-prepared to handle your responsibilities from day one.
