Job Description:

This critical care nursing assignment places you in a specialized cardiovascular ICU, focusing on post-cardiothoracic surgery recovery, including protocols involving Impella, Balloon Pump, and ARTIC Sun therapies. You will work a 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM for a duration of 13 weeks, managing high acuity patients with complex comorbidities and advanced life support devices. The role demands independence in providing routine and complex patient care, with opportunities to lead in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Prior experience with ECMO, CRRT, or Epic electronic health records is preferred but not mandatory.
