Job Description:

Join our team for an engaging 13-week travel ICU assignment in Peoria, Illinois, working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced ICU nurses to apply their skills in a Level 1 trauma center, caring for a diverse patient population from newborns to the elderly, with conditions ranging from minor complaints to critical emergencies such as strokes, heart attacks, and trauma cases. The position emphasizes teamwork, with experienced trauma and critical care teams, and access to advanced respiratory support equipment. The assignment is designed for nurses with at least two years of ICU experience and prior travel experience, ready to handle complex cases and titrate various drips including vasopressors and cardiac medications. Expect a fast-paced environment that challenges your critical thinking and hands-on skills, all while working in a well-supported setting featuring stable staffing with attending physicians, house supervisors, and ED techs.
