Job Description:

Join us as a traveling healthcare professional on a 13-week contract at a vibrant facility in Grass Valley, CA. You'll work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced MedSurg unit, floating to tele beds when needed, and handling a wide variety of general medical and orthopedic cases. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills in a dynamic setting where quick thinking and adaptability are key. You'll be part of a team that values competence in EKG interpretation, drips management (like Amiodarone and Diltiazem), and ventilator troubleshooting, all while working alongside a collaborative staff in a unit that likes to keep things lively and engaging.

Job Specifics:

Location: Grass Valley, CA
Shift: 12-hour night shifts starting at 6:45 PM
Duration: 13 weeks, with approximately 36 hours per week
Additional details include rotating holiday work, float to tele beds, and a fast-paced environment where your skills in EKG, drips management, and ventilator management will shine. You will complete unit-specific orientation and be part of a supportive team handling general MedSurg cases, post-op general, and orthopedic patients in a 38-bed unit with 8 telemetry beds. Schedules are self-managed within a four-week outlook, giving you flexibility to optimize your work-life balance.
