Join a busy adult critical care unit in Fredericksburg, VA, for a 13-week travel assignment that combines skilled respiratory therapy with the chance to experience a vibrant community setting. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing essential airway management, medication administration, ABGs, and respiratory therapies like BiPAP, CPAP, and nebulizers. Job Specifics:

Location: Fredericksburg, VA
Shift: 12-hour nights, 19:00-07:30
Duration: 13 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week
This role is open to first-time travelers and requires on-call duty three times within each six-week scheduling period. The position involves floating to ER and adult ICU, with the flexibility to accommodate block schedules not supported. Respiratory experience is essential, including airway management, ABGs, pulmonary therapies, and arterial blood gas analysis. Candidates should hold active BLS, CRT, ACLS (with a 90-day window for certification if pending), and VA licensure, with preferred NICU, ED, or adult ICU experience. Participation in monthly department meetings is expected.
