Job Description:

Join our Neuro MedSurg Acute unit in Peoria, Illinois, for an engaging 13-week travel assignment as a registered nurse. This role offers the opportunity to work on a dedicated neuroscience unit with 54 beds, where you'll manage complex cases such as stroke, spine surgery, seizures, and brain tumors. The shift is 12 hours during the day, giving you ample time to enjoy the area's attractions after your shift. You'll be part of a team that handles a variety of neurological conditions, with responsibilities including titrating heparin drips based on PTT and troubleshooting advanced RT equipment like Vents and Cpap machines. The unit features a charge nurse and house supervisor on duty 24/7, and the staff benefits from a supportive and collaborative environment. If you bring trauma experience and previous travel experience, this assignment will be both a professional challenge and a rewarding adventure.
