Job Description:

Join our team as an ER RN on a 13-week contract in Mount Ayr, Iowa, working 12-hour night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am. This role offers the opportunity to float to Medical Surgical units when no ER patients are present, providing variety and the chance to sharpen your skills across different care settings. Expect to manage a busy trauma-level CAH ER with 4 bays, handle common urgent and trauma cases, and support patient flow with a nurse:patient ratio of approximately 1:3-4. Experience in critical care drips, EMR systems, and rapid adaptation to the local emergency environment will be key. The facility values proactive, flexible professionals ready to step in where needed, and previous travel experience is required.
