Job Description:

Join a busy, high-acuity ICU team in Houston, Texas, for a 13-week travel contract as an experienced ICU RN. This role offers the opportunity to work in a notable Level 1 trauma setting where you'll manage complex cases such as heart transplants, LVAD patients, and valve surgeries. The shift is 12 hours long, with a focus on floating as needed, allowing for a varied and engaging experience. The unit features a team of charge RNs, RTs, and nurse aides, and requires proficiency with CRRT and titratable drips. Candidates should have at least 3 years of ICU experience, previous travel experience, and the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment. Repeat: this is a non-patient care role, strictly focused on critical care nursing activities, with strong emphasis on managing advanced equipment and high-acuity patients.
