Job Description

Join a 13-week CVOR contract in Belleville, Illinois, supporting Open Heart Surgery as a Registered Nurse. The primary assignment focuses on cardiac and open-heart procedures, with opportunities to work in both first-scrub and circulator roles. Independent first-scrub experience with cardiac procedures is preferred, while experience in endovascular/hybrid, neuro-spine, ENT, orthopedic, robotic, or other surgical specialties is a plus.

You will work four 10-hour day shifts, generally from 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., with start and end times adjusted to the operating room schedule. The role includes required call coverage, with weeknight call extending through 6:30 a.m. and weekend call running from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. Call is self-scheduled within the Open Heart team. BLS is required, ACLS is preferred, and EPIC experience is required. First-time travelers are welcome.
