Job Description

Take your operating room expertise to Fargo for a 13-week contract assignment supporting a large acute-care surgical program. This role is designed for an experienced OR RN who can circulate a broad range of cases, with particular strength in neuro procedures such as craniotomies and spine surgery, as well as orthopedics. Experience with general, GYN, urology, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures—including Da Vinci—is highly valued.

You will prepare and position patients, complete sterile site preparation, insert catheters, open sterile supplies, document in an electronic charting system, and set up or operate equipment as directed. The department uses laparoscopic and arthroscopy equipment, cautery, lasers, and Stealth navigation for neuro cases. The schedule includes 8-hour evening shifts, rotating call, occasional extended shifts, and rotation to the evening schedule with the staff. Call is typically 1–2 days per week and every third to fourth weekend.

BLS and an active North Dakota or compact RN license are required. Recent operating room experience in a large hospital and experience with 15 or more OR suites are essential; outpatient-only experience will not match this assignment. Scrub color is provided ceil blue.
