Job Description:

This 12-week travel assignment is designed for a CVOR Registered Nurse supporting cardiovascular operating room procedures in a short-term acute care setting. You will provide specialized perioperative nursing care during day shifts, working with a 1:1 assignment ratio and collaborating with the surgical team throughout each case. The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week, with weekend coverage and one call weekend per month assigned according to unit needs. Travelers may float to other regional facilities based on their skills, so a personal vehicle is required. First-time travelers may be considered based on relevant experience.

Portland typically offers cool temperatures, mild conditions, overcast skies, and periodic rain during this time of year. Comfortable layers and a waterproof jacket are useful for exploring the city and nearby outdoor areas.
