Job Description:

Provide skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced observation setting with a typical length of stay goal of 18–24 hours. This travel assignment supports a mixed PCU, med-surg telemetry, and med-surg service line. You will care for patients with conditions such as chest pain, atrial fibrillation, TIA, GI bleeding, acute kidney injury, COPD, CHF, seizures, and post-surgical complications. The role includes managing intermediate medication drips such as heparin, nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and insulin, while collaborating with observation providers and floating within scope across service-line units as needed. Night shifts run three 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend. Two years of experience and ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications are required.
