Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment as a stepdown registered nurse caring for patients with cardiac conditions, sepsis, DKA, CVA, GI bleeds, and complex post-surgical needs. You will work 12-hour day shifts while providing telemetry monitoring, 12-lead EKG interpretation, NIHSS and neurological assessments, dysphagia screening, and titration of medications such as antiarrhythmics, Heparin, and insulin. The assignment includes caring for patients with post-cath interventions, pacemakers, feeding tubes, CPAP, and other higher-acuity needs. Travelers may float within their skillset across nearby campuses, offering a varied experience while remaining within the stepdown setting.
