Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is for a PCU registered nurse caring for adult patients with conditions including CVA, TIA, shortness of breath, COVID, subdural hematoma, and weakness. The role includes 12-hour night shifts, telemetry monitoring, medication administration, and management of patients requiring therapies such as PCA pumps, Cardizem, and insulin. You will work closely with nursing assistants, care managers, social workers, dieticians, physical therapy, and occupational therapy while supporting hourly rounding and patient responsiveness. The unit has a collaborative team structure, with opportunities to float to medical-surgical areas based on need.
