Job Description:

Join a Labor and Delivery team in Rochester, New York, for a 13-week travel contract caring for pregnant patients at any gestational age, as well as postpartum patients within six weeks of delivery. You will assist with vaginal deliveries, circulate and recover Cesarean sections, support newborn care, manage fetal monitoring, and care for patients receiving therapies such as magnesium sulfate, oxytocin, and terbutaline. The role includes triage, non-stress testing, postpartum assessments, and support for high-risk conditions such as pregnancy-induced hypertension and postpartum hemorrhage. Nurses should be comfortable with EPIC charting, EFM and IUPC use, newborn thermoregulation, and floating within their skill set. The schedule alternates between day and night 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend coverage and no call requirement.

Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts, alternating 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; every other weekend
