Job Description:
Join a progressive care unit as a travel Registered Nurse caring for patients with complex neurological and trauma-related conditions, including strokes, seizures, spinal injuries, altered mental status, and traumatic injuries. This assignment includes 12-hour night shifts, caring for patients who may require tracheostomy and ventilator support, telemetry monitoring, and titratable drips such as heparin, nitroglycerin, diltiazem, amiodarone, insulin, and hypertonic saline. Experience with medical-surgical, progressive care, or intensive care nursing is required, with recent experience in a comparable setting preferred. BLS and NIHSS certifications are required. Travelers should be comfortable floating to related medical-surgical specialties and participating in a self-scheduling process.Weather:
