Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse providing overnight care for patients with cardiac and stroke diagnoses. The schedule consists of four 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with every-other-weekend coverage. Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, peripheral IV care, phlebotomy, oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions. The RN may float within scope between Medical-Surgical, ICU, and Emergency Department units. Epic is used for charting, and first-time travelers are welcome.
