Meet Steve Ryan

Atlas MedStaff President and Air Force Veteran

Before Steve helped build Atlas MedStaff, he served our country. That experience shaped his understanding of leadership, responsibility, and what it means to be accountable to the people beside you. He learned that trust comes from action, your word matters, and leadership requires stepping forward when circumstances become difficult.

Steve brought those principles with him to Atlas. He believes people deserve to be treated with respect, decisions should reflect what is right, and leaders must hold themselves to the same standards they expect from others. He has never asked someone to take on work or make a sacrifice that he would not accept himself.

His military service remains part of how Atlas operates today. It influences how we care for our travelers, support our employees, keep our commitments, and take responsibility when we fall short. Steve’s service came before Atlas, but the values it strengthened continue to help define who we are

From Service to Travel Healthcare

Here Is All You Need

Icon Professionalism

Joint Commission Experience

Travelers generally need one year of experience in an accredited facility.

Icon Integrity

EMR Experience

Travelers must have experience with computer charting systems.

Icon Responsiveness

Minimum Experience

Travelers must have at least one year experience in a hospital setting.

Military service teaches people to walk into unfamiliar environments and contribute quickly. Travel healthcare requires that same mindset.

Leaving the military doesn't mean leaving behind a life of service. Travel clinicians step into hospitals that need experienced professionals today, not next month. The mission still matters. You're still answering the call. Only the uniform changes.

Ready for your next mission?

Whether you're separating from active duty, retiring from military service, or looking for your next chapter, we'd be honored to help you find where you belong.
