Why

Why

Lately I've been fascinated with "the why". Why did our recruiters become recruiters? Why did our nurses become nurses? We all have a why. When was the last time you thought about yours?

My why drives me every day. My why pushes me when I could easily throw in the towel. My why is my family. My wife, son and two daughters. I only want the best for them. It drives me to be the very best I can be every day. From the time I get up to the time I go to bed, my why is there pushing me to succeed.

My other why is my Atlas family. Our internal staff and every nurse working for us. I believe Atlas is special for one reason, the people. No secret sauce, just a belief that we can be the very best travel nursing company in the country. Everything I do at Atlas is done in an effort to make that a reality. I couldn't be an absentee business owner, it's not in my blood. "Passive" income is a myth. Nothing worthwhile is ever easy. It takes hard, grinding work every single day.

My why's are my oxygen. They are my motivation. What are yours? What drives you? What makes you get up in the morning? Your job isn't easy. What makes you do it every day?
