Job Description:

Join a healthcare team where you'll be stepping into the role of a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 14-week contract in Stockbridge, Georgia. This position offers a 12-hour day shift, allowing you to focus on adult to geriatric patients recovering from surgeries or dealing with complex medical needs such as wound care, TPN, PPN, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and PICC lines. You'll work primarily within a unit that handles oncology and surgical trauma cases, with patient ratios averaging 1:5 or 6 across 16 beds. Expect to operate within the Epic system and utilize tools like Pyxis and SBAR for seamless patient management. This assignment provides a hands-on opportunity to manage post-surgical care, pain management, and overflow stroke patients in a supportive environment that values your expertise and flexibility. Additionally, you'll have the chance to work every other weekend and contribute during major holidays if scheduled, making this role both fulfilling and engaging.
