Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an engaging opportunity to work in a dedicated adult medical-surgical unit specializing in acute care for a variety of diagnoses, from cellulitis and dehydration to behavioral health and addictions. You'll be primarily responsible for managing a diverse patient population during 12-hour day shifts, providing clinical support to patients with conditions like sepsis, electrolyte imbalances, and uncontrolled diabetes. The role involves operating advanced bedside equipment such as Bipap and Cpap machines, managing central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes, and collaborating closely with charge RNs, nurse aides, and telemetry staff. Ideal for nurses experienced with EPIC, MedSurg, and trauma settings, this assignment emphasizes autonomous patient monitoring and timely interventions while offering the chance to enhance your skills in a high-quality hospital environment. Expect a fast-paced, ever-changing floor where your attention to detail makes a difference, but don't worry—you're supported by a dedicated team and a smooth orientation culminating in 12 hours of non-billable training.
