Job Description:

This travel nursing opportunity places you in the heart of Albany, Georgia, working 12-hour night shifts in a busy hospital setting. You'll be part of the labor pool across multiple units, including Med/Surg, ICU, and ED, with the chance to float between departments such as Orthopedics, Neuro, Oncology, and Cardiology. Your role will involve managing a patient load with nurse-to-patient ratios typically around 1:6 in ICU and ED, and 1:8 to 1:10 on Med/Surg floors. You’ll need to bring your experience and adapt quickly to changing assignments, often pulling double duty by floating between units and handling ventilator management, including BIPAP and CPAP therapy. With critical certifications like BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (or equivalent), you'll support the clinical team during high-acuity situations. The hospital emphasizes efficient communication, quick turnarounds with confirmation notes, and a teamwork-focused atmosphere.
