Job Description:

Join our team as a Pediatric Cath Lab Tech in Portland, Oregon, and become a crucial part of specialized cardiac imaging procedures. This position involves assisting physicians during complex interventions, operating advanced radiologic equipment such as fluoroscopy and ultrasonography, and preparing patients in a sterile environment. You'll be working primarily in the cardiac catheterization lab, cross-training in related service areas like electrophysiology or hybrid operating rooms. The role offers 10-hour shifts five days a week, giving you a chance to master intricate imaging techniques, threading stents and balloons, and ensuring optimal imaging quality while respecting patient safety. This assignment is ideal for techs with at least a year of relevant experience, including pediatric imaging, and holds certifications like BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and RCIS. If you enjoy precise work with fine motor skills and working independently during on-call hours, this contract offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in a leading teaching hospital environment.
