Job Description:

Join a specialized nursing role in the PCU unit at a facility in Columbus, Ohio, focusing on acute leukemia and hematology care. This 12-hour night shift assignment offers a unique opportunity to work closely with adult and geriatric patients newly diagnosed with leukemia, providing vital support during their initial treatment phase. The role involves managing telemetry monitoring, interpreting dysrhythmias, administering IV therapies, and maintaining central lines, all while emphasizing infection control and fall prevention protocols. The schedule is flexible, with self-scheduling options to fit your preferences, and the first week includes comprehensive orientation. No chemo certification is required for this contract, but BLS and ACLS are mandatory. Experience with MS/Tele, rapid response teams, and blood product administration is essential.
