Job Description:

Join a 13-week contract as a Step Down Registered Nurse, working night shifts in a vibrant short-term acute care hospital. This role offers a chance to work in a facility with 99 beds, where you'll be responsible for caring for patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatment. The position involves a 36-hour week with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and you’ll be expected to float to med-surg, med-tele, and rehab units as needed. Candidates with 1-2 years of experience, ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA only), and comfort with isolation patients—including COVID cases—are encouraged to apply. You might also take on charge duties, handle drips like Cardizem and Amio, and perform procedures such as thoracentesis and paracentesis.
