Job Description:

Join a specialized stepdown cardiac neuro unit for a 13-week contract at a prominent hospital in Evansville, IN. You'll work 12-hour night shifts on a blended unit that includes post-procedure cardiac patients and neuro cases such as CVAs, seizures, and TBI. This role offers a chance to deepen your assessment and critical thinking skills, especially with complex interventions like post-heart cath care, titrating drips, and interpreting 12-lead EKGs. Expected to float within your skillset to nearby campuses, you'll need to be adaptable and capable of managing a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in neuro assessments, sepsis care, chest tubes, and PIV insertions will be essential for success in this unique assignment.
