Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital in St. Louis as a step-down registered nurse, where you'll provide specialized care in a dedicated step-down unit. This role offers 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30) on a 3x12 schedule, with a focus on titration of vasopressors, sedation medications, insulin drips, trach vents, art lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes. You'll experience the unique challenge of managing patients with complex needs, ensuring safe medication titrations, and responding swiftly to changing patient conditions, all within a supportive and well-equipped environment. This assignment is perfect for RNs with a minimum of two years' bedside experience, including recent hands-on work with ventilated patients and pressor titrations. Clinicians should be comfortable floating within scope to lower acuity floors and prepared for a biweekly start, with a total commitment of 36 hours per week over 13 weeks.
