Job Description:

Join this labor & delivery team for a 12-hour night shift travel assignment in Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin. You'll be working with a dedicated group of RNs handling labor, delivery, postpartum, and well-baby nursery duties. Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery patients, caring for mother/baby couplets, and overseeing post-surgical cases such as post-appe and post-chole. Experience with titrateable drips like oxytocin, mag, and insulin is required. You'll operate under AWHONN guidelines, with a typical workload of about 17 births per month. This role offers a chance to experience the unique rhythm of Wisconsin's OB unit, with opportunities to float to MedSurg if needed, and to perform a variety of clinical tasks in a fast-paced environment that values independence and skill. Though the unit is sometimes busy, you'll be supported by in-house anesthesia and neonatologists during daytime hours, with on-call coverage after hours and weekends.
