Job Description:

Join a highly skilled surgical team as a Cardiothoracic Surgical Technologist at Mercy Hospital Springfield. In this role, you'll set up operating rooms for complex procedures such as CABG, Valve Replacement, and Lung Resection, ensuring all instruments and supplies are perfectly prepared. You will assist surgeons with creating and maintaining sterile fields, performing instrument counts, and handling specialized equipment like Robotics and ECMO circuits. This assignment offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience with open-heart surgeries and other advanced thoracic procedures in a fast-paced environment where precision and professionalism are paramount. Your expertise will directly support life-saving surgeries and the care of cardiothoracic patients in a busy, modern OR setting.
