Job Description:

This OR Tech / Surgical Tech role offers the opportunity to work in a busy Level I trauma acute care hospital in Springfield, Illinois. You'll be assisting in a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general, trauma, neurosurgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, and plastic surgery. The shift is scheduled for 8-hour days from 06:45 to 15:15, with a 13-week duration. Expect to float within your scope to meet department needs and be part of a team that handles approximately 50-60 cases daily. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of experience, BLS certification, and CST preferred. This assignment emphasizes hands-on surgical support, sterile techniques, and equipment handling, providing a dynamic environment to sharpen your technical skills and expand your expertise in a surgical setting that values flexibility and professionalism.
