Job Description:

Join a reputable teaching hospital as a MedSurg/Telemetry RN and experience the unique rhythm of a busy Level 1 Trauma Center. This role involves managing inpatient med-surg units with a focus on cardiac and chest pain patients. You will be responsible for handling a variety of clinical tasks, including chest tube management, trach care, PIV starts, and administering critical drips like insulin and Heparin. The setting provides an engaging environment where you'll contribute to patient recovery while navigating a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere. Expect to support your team with patient safety tasks, assist with vital signs, blood glucose checks, and support unit staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining high standards of care in a hospital that values teamwork and efficiency. Playing a crucial role during your 13-week assignment, you'll have the opportunity to refine your skills in a challenging yet rewarding environment, all while working 12-hour night shifts.
