Job Description:

Join a vibrant hospital setting in Rapid City as a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care. In this 16-week contract, you'll work on a mixed acuity unit handling a variety of cardiac, vascular, and post-procedural patients. Your day will include managing telemetry rhythms, titratable cardiac medications, chest tubes, and assisting with cardiac procedures like TAVR and post-catheter care. This role offers a chance to refine your skills in a supportive environment, with opportunities to precept students and collaborate with a dedicated team. The unit operates on a 12-hour shift schedule, with a weekend and holiday rotation, and provides comprehensive orientation to set you up for success. Expect to work primarily on the Heart & Vascular unit, with occasional floating to related units within scope of practice. Ideal for experienced cardiac RNs ready to bring their expertise to a dynamic team, this assignment is a perfect mix of challenge and professional growth.
