Job Description:

As a PCU Registered Nurse on night shifts, you'll be the key player in managing patient care on the Progressive Care Unit during your 12-hour overnight shifts. Your responsibilities will include starting and managing IVs, administering medications safely, and monitoring vital signs and patient responses. You'll also educate patients about their treatments and self-care, collaborate closely with the care team to develop and implement patient plans, and ensure documentation is thorough and accurate using EPIC EMR. Flexibility is important, as you may be floated to lower acuity units to support staffing needs, all while following hospital policies and maintaining a focus on patient safety. This role offers a chance to hone your clinical skills in a supportive environment, all while experiencing the rhythm of night shift nursing in a vibrant city.
