Job Description:

Join our team as a Telemetry RN in a fast-paced Adult Admission Inpatient Unit located next to the Emergency Department. This role involves managing the admissions process, monitoring telemetry, interpreting dysrhythmias, and handling a variety of medical equipment. You'll be working night shifts in a setting that functions similarly to an ED holding unit, where quick turn-and-burn patient care is essential. The assigned unit is a vital part of a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital with 554 beds, offering a high-energy atmosphere suited for experienced RNs who are comfortable working independently and floating within scope across inpatient PCU, SAC, and ICU areas as needed. Candidates must have ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications, with previous telemetry interpretation experience. No local candidates within 100 miles are accepted, and first-time travelers are welcome. This 13-week contract provides a guaranteed 48 hours per week, with scheduled night shifts, and an opportunity to gain valuable acute care experience in a prestigious medical center.
